Around Öland

The church had a swingset that most definitely was not medieval, so we stopped for some fun before moving on to our next destination.

We stopped at an old medieval church called Gärdslösa kyrka. It dates from the 1160's!

Today we toured around the island of Öland. We stayed in an apartment in Borgholm (mom was super excited because it had a sauna!), but drove around during the day to see the sights. Here I am with mom in front of one of the many many windmills on the island. Much of the island has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, so there was lots to see.
