Olbrich Gardens Train Show

Okay, so these photos are pretty lame.  We went to a holiday train show at Olbrich Gardens, but mom and dad had a hard time taking any good pictures of me with trains in the background. I thought they were sooooooo awesome, I wouldn't turn around for a photo.

Random holiday fun

Both my grandmas at the same time!  I'm overwhelmed by all the cuddles.

Climbing the stairs at Meepaw and Beepaw's house!

Practicing vacuuming with my awesome red vacuum cleaner (thanks Aunt Vicki and Uncle Gary!).

Christmas with the McMahons

We spent Christmas Day with Grandma and Grandpa McMahon. Here I am with their pretty Christmas tree!

Big truck!!!!  With lots of cars!!!  Wow!!!

Bowling for monsters... thanks Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jon!

One of instant favorite books. Mom said it was one of her favorites when she was little.  I like to practice quacking like a duck myself.

It's hard to tell here, but I have on a really cool panda-bear backpack that my Grandpa McMahon bought in China.  I couldn't stop practicing my new word "bakkka pack" all day.

And check out this awesome pirate ship that Grandma and Grandpa McMahon got me.   It's too big to take home in the car, so we'll have to get it the next time we come.  But it sure is fun to climb on!

Christmas with the Sauers

I discovered chocolate... it was in my stocking at the Sauers on Christmas Eve!  It's all downhill from here with my vegetables... why eat broccoli when you can have chocolate??

Piles and piles of presents!

One of my top ten favorite gifts this year... a really loud fire truck.  Yay!  Thanks Aunt Jill and Uncle Dan.

First Christmas present!

Yay, I opened my first Christmas presents today, a bit early. It was a very guapo purple hat. It matches my purple shirt!

First Snow

Here I am with mom enjoying our first real snow of the season. Snow makes me a little bit nervous... I get upset when too much of it gets on anyone's shoes or gloves, and even the car.  But mom and dad said I better get used to it, since I'm a bona fide Sconnie Boy!

Julian tracks!

I even have my own shovel. I helped daddy clear the walk.

I'm very distressed about the snow covering the lights on our neighbor's walk.

We took a walk down to the grade school at the end of our street, and the parking lot wasn't plowed yet so we had a great time practicing shoveling. I'm an expert now!

Playing in Carle park (aka Hidey park) at Thanksgiving

We drove to Urbana for Thanksgiving and I got to see all my grandparents, four of my aunts/uncles, and four of my cousins! It was really fun. Carle Park was across the street so we played over there. The  swing was especially fun... I wanted to keep swinging, and didn't want to do anything else. But then I puked, which made a big mess and we had to go inside to clean up. I guess there is such a thing as too much swinging!

Cooking with mom

Here I am cooking with mom. We are cutting vegetables.  I can't wait until mom and dad let me use a knife by myself.

Playing in the leaves

I helped dad rake leaves in the back yard.

Last chance to wear my Halloween costume!

Never miss the opportunity to mow mow mow the lawn! Did you ever have a dragon mow your lawn?

Halloween 2011

Here I am at our annual pumpkin carving party, with my friend Calista and her mom Kristyn.  Kristyn is a professor at the university where my mom works, and they are friends!

Dad carved a super cool pumpkin. I spent a lot of time inspecting it because it looked kinda mean. But I poked it and it didn't seem to mind.  I'm wearing my awesome dragon costume. Since I don't like hats, most of the time I was a dragon from the neck down.

Playing in the park

Summer went late this year, so we took advantage of it. Here I am trying out the slide next to the zoo. The slide is inside a giant shoe!

Daddy and I played "steam roller", where he squashes me and it's really funny.

My new skill is throwing things, and I get lots of practice down at the creek near our house... there are lots of stones, and when I throw them into the water, they make a big SPASH!

Today we stopped at a garage sale and we got this super awesome wagon for $5.  I love love love it!

Farmer's market on the square

We spent this morning down at the farmer's market on the capitol square. Here I am in front of the capitol building. Governor Scott Walker is hiding in there somewhere.

Playing with dad in the grass.

I plan to use this shot in my feature article for "Toddler" magazine.

Around Madison in October

Here I am playing in Lake Wingra with dad. The water was kind of chilly, but it was refreshing to dip my feet!

Running under the Daddy Bridge. I'm so tall now, I barely fit!

I sure do love mowing the lawn. Daddy says he hopes I still love it when I'm 12.

The Ellises come to visit

Here I am with my cousins Gwen and Maeve Ellis, from Austin, TX. They came to visit us in Madison with their parents, Jenny and Jon.  Aunt Jenny is Dad's little sister!   We had lots of fun playing in the park, playing in our back yard, and horsing around after dinner.

Here I am on the merry-go-round!

With daddy at the park.

On the merry-go-round with my cousin Gwen. Sometimes she gives me kisses, and sometimes she pretends to be a dog. She's funny!

With my uncle Jon on the merry-go-round.

Schuster Family Farm part 2

Tractors!

Seriously contemplating pumpkin choices.

We went to the pumpkin patch on a hay-rack ride.  I loved loved loved the tractor. But as you can see, I was starting to get crabby because it was past my naptime.  Note the famous Stenzel (Sauer?) scowl.
