Last trip to Tabarca

Tio Paco took us on his boat one last time before we leave for Sweden. I had lots of fun exploring the boat floor, and watching the waves.

Tio Paco even let me drive his boat for a while!!

Sevilla part 1

We visited Sevilla this weekend (aka Seville). It was gorgeous. Here we are hanging around at the Alcazar, which is like a smaller version of the Alhambra in Granada. I loved the fountains in the gardens, as usual.

Doggies in Jalon

I met some very cute doggies at the German restaurant near Jalon. Notice that I'm wearing my Snoopy shirt, which is very appropriate! But I was a little nervous when one of them decided to try and lick my foot.

Around Jalon

We went to Jalon with our friends Lejla, Has, and Malik. We visited a bodega where they had wine tasting! Then we went up to a funny German restaurant that was on the top of a big hill. It had spectacular views of the valley below.

The beach in Albir

Okay, it's still too cold for swimming in the Med, but it's fun to pretend!!

Here we are on the beach in Albir, which is just a bit north of Alicante. Mom and Dad like it because of the big stones. Sandy beaches are nice, but I end up eating fistfulls of sand. Most of these rocks are big enough that I can't fit them all in my mouth. Hard to crawl on, but easier on the stomach!

At the playground

Yay mommy took me to the playground this afternoon, while daddy was at band practice. I crawled all around. My favorite part is the orange and red rooster. I LOVE ORANGE!!

Mejilliones

Daddy and I went shopping at the central mercado today and bought mussels (mejilliones). Daddy also baked a loaf of bread that looks suspiciously like my birthday bread from last April! I didn't try the mejilliones but I at lots of bread and it was yummmmmmy!

I love bread!!

Yummmmmy I love Spanish bread! Mom and dad set the grocery bags on the floor and I made a beeline for the fresh loaf from Carrefour. So tasty!
