We met some nice new friends while at Vasapark a few weeks ago. Jennie and Jonas have a son named Noah, and they are Swedish! Jennie did the very un-Swedish thing and invited us over for fika and then out to the park to play. Here I am with Noah. He is super cute! It's like having a little brother.
John was playing with a cattail, using it like a light sabre. He is only about one year older than me, but I really really wanted to be just like him and have my own light sabre!

We went to a party today, to say goodbye to Byron, Amy, Emma, Edgar, and John Crump. They were also living in Sweden for Byron's sabbatical in the same department as mommy. Soon they are going home to Maryland. We had a great time hanging out by the lake and frolicking in their yard hunting for wild blueberries, smultron, and raspberries.

Tia Carol has to leave today, so we spent the morning hanging around in Uppsala. Check out this brave duck! He thought I had some bread, but I didn't.
Tia Carol read me some stories while she was visiting us. I tried to get her to read it in Spanish, but she decided to use English instead!

Today we went to the botanical gardens near the university, with Tia Carol. It was rainy, but we did get a break for about an hour so we could run around and explore the gardens.

We went strawberry picking AGAIN, but this time near Uppsala with Tia Carol! She came to visit us from Spain. We decided to show her some Swedish traditions/obsessions. So we went to the jordgubbar field.
It rained a few times, but it didn't spoil our fun! We just stomped around in the puddles.

Today we went strawberry picking near the town of Vadstena, where we are staying with mom's host in his summer cabin. They are perfectly ripe right now. Yummmy!
On our way from Helsingborg to Vadstena, we took a break at a rest-stop. Such a fun playground... Sweden is AWESOME!

Today we drove north from Copenhagen and after a short stop at a famous art museum, we took the ferry across the Øresund to Helsingborg. We stayed the night in Helsingborg, and spent the evening exploring the city. Here I am with dad in front of the city hall.
One of my favorite rides at Tivoli was the Dragon Boats. Here I am with mom in one. I am totally in love with boats!
