Mom and dad invited our friends here in Alicante over for a traditional American Thanksgiving feast! Dad stayed up late the night before to brine a one-legged turkey from the Central Mercado, and to make some fantastic stuffing with chestnuts and mushrooms. We had 11 people total in our tiny apartment!
Here I am eating some green beans. Mom said I wasn't quite ready for turkey. My favorite thing was the butternut squash soup. The gravy was pretty awesome also.
Here is a picture of almost the whole gang! We are only missing Tio Paco, who is taking the picture.
Here I am with Tio Rohit and Tia Carol. Rohit is from India (by way of Germany) and Carol is from Brazil.
I love my Tia Carol!
Here I am having some tasty leche. My BFF Malik is sleeping on his momma, Lejla. They are from Slovenia.

Saturday in La Nucia and Altea
We went to La Nucia and Altea today. First we went shopping at an international grocery store. Mom and dad bought a bunch of Thai and Indian curries. Can't wait to try them! But then we had lunch at an Argentinian restaurant called Las Gauchas. Here mommy is trying to feed me a big piece of steak! I couldn't quite manage it, though I did try the empanadas. Yummmy!
Our friends Lejla, Has, and Malik from Slovenia went with us. Also our friend Carol from Brazil!
Malik was feeling kind of crabby because he just got over a case of pneumonia, but we are such good friends that he was nice to me and gave me some pets.

Eh, What's up, doc?
Modernista in Novelda
Papa and I went on a day trip to Novelda to see some of the "Art Nouveau" (Modernista) sites. The Santuario de Santa Maria Magdalena looks like that cathedral in Barcelona, on a smaller scale. Speaking of scale, I look gigantic in the picture, but it's just perspective.
Or is it just perspective??? The monster baby will destroy the Santuario!!
Next stop, the Casa-Museo Modernista, a beautiful 1903 mansion decked out in Art Nouveau woodwork, tiles, furniture and murals. I practiced my crawling in the courtyard.
